It is out there for all to see, God’s glory, that is. We bask in the sun. We stare up at the moon and appreciate its light. We enjoy the seasons; summer, winter, spring and fall, the flowers, the trees, the birds of the air, the clouds painted against the blue skies, the rainbow after the rain.
They all are an ostentatious display of the glory of God. We see it in the colors of the seasons, the vastness of the oceans, the beauty within the deep, and in each of our faces. We all bear the image of God. We were created in his image, for his glory.
God asked Job:
“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. 5 Who determined its measurements–surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? 6 On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone, 7 when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy? 8 Or who shut in the sea with doors when it burst out from the womb, 9 when I made clouds its garment and thick darkness its swaddling band, and prescribed limits for it and set bars and doors, and said, ‘Thus far shall you come, and no farther, and here shall your proud waves be stayed?‘ Job 38:4-9 ESV
Only God. Only God.

Wonderful reminder! So often I am start a work day and lose track of this wonder all around me. My mind is already thinking about the day ahead and not living in the moment. To be reminded that we are part of God’s creation is something I will try to “see” each day! Thank you!
