Hello there. My name is Barbara Fisher and I am a new on the blogosphere. I have thought about doing this for sometime as I can be very opinionated about things and sometimes too much for Facebook. I am a married and the mother of two adult children, and the grandmother of seven. I am a Christian and have recently just moved my membership to a Reformed Baptist Church. I retired December 2012, and that has afforded me this opportunity to not overwhelm Facebook with my thoughts. I hope you find my blog – thought provoking, engaging, and interesting. Please let me know what you think. This is one venue where your feedback is the juice craved to keep going and going.

It Makes It So Much Easier

Daily Prompt

When you know your Purpose , it makes living so much easier. You know why you get up. You know why you do what you do. My purpose in life is to glorify God in all I do, in all the ways that he has gifted me, in all the circumstances that I find myself in, and to enjoy him, look to him, and worship him forever. Knowing what God expects of me, desires of me, helps me to see where I fit, what I do.

It is much like determining my blog’s focus. Once I determined my blog’s purpose, it made it that much easier to not trail down other paths when enticed, not necessarily wrong paths, but paths that don’t fit my purpose.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Colossians 3:17 KJV

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. I Corinthians 10:31 ESV

Find your purpose. Know your purpose!

It really does make living so much easier.
