About Barbara Fisher

Hello there. My name is Barbara Fisher and I am a new on the blogosphere. I have thought about doing this for sometime as I can be very opinionated about things and sometimes too much for Facebook. I am a married and the mother of two adult children, and the grandmother of seven. I am a Christian and have recently just moved my membership to a Reformed Baptist Church. I retired December 2012, and that has afforded me this opportunity to not overwhelm Facebook with my thoughts. I hope you find my blog – thought provoking, engaging, and interesting. Please let me know what you think. This is one venue where your feedback is the juice craved to keep going and going.

He Sets the Atmosphere

It is God who sets the atmosphere; and I remain in awe of him. I love that the weather can vary so much from one place to another.  Just a couple of days ago, the atmosphere was cloudy, and rainy day for the full day, while my girlfriend in Arizona was sitting in a relatively dry climate.

I loved being at home watching and hearing the rain. It made for a perfect day for staying in my comfies, and cooking a pot of white beans.  Thank you Lord for rain in due season.

By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth? Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder, To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, in which there is no man; To satisfy the desolate and waste ground, and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?
